Neurophysiology
Neurophysiology is a branch of physiology that aims to explore the functions of the central nervous system, including:
Brain
Spinal cord
Peripheral nervous system
- Nerves
- Sensory organs
To do this, we use highly specialized technology that can establish an accurate diagnosis, evaluate the prognosis of each patient and determine the direction of treatment for the disease they suffer from.
Specialty
Electroneurography: Motor and sensory nerve conduction velocity, H and F blink reflex responses.
Neuromuscular transmission.
Electromyography: Spontaneous activities, Interference pattern, Quantitative EMG, Localization for administration of botulinum toxin.
Evoked potentials: Somatosensory, Auditory (latency intensity curve, and V wave thresholds (5)), Visual.
EEG
