NEUROPHYSIOLOGY

Neurophysiology is a branch of physiology whose goal is to explore the functions of the central nervous system, including:

  • brain

  • spinal cord

  • peripheral nervous system

    • nerves

    • sensory organs  

 

To do this, we use a highly specialized technology that can establish an accurate diagnosis, evaluate the prognosis of each patient and determine the direction of treatment of the disease that suffers.

ASSISTANCE OFFER

  • Electroneurography: Sensory and motor nerve conduction velocity, H and F Blink reflex responses.

  • Neuromuscular transmission.

  • Electromyography: spontaneous activities, interference pattern, quantitative EMG, location for administration of botulinum toxin.

  • Evoked potentials: Somatosensory, Auditory (intensity latency curve, and thresholds of wave V (5)), Visual.
